Greg made it home! He’s been recuperating nicely at his house for the last two weeks. Last week, he went to see the orthopedic surgeons for a six week checkup. All of his bones are healing nicely, and both docs say he is right on schedule for weight bearing in several weeks.
Greg is happy to be home. Not only was the food at the hospital terrible, but he says that the hospital is just not a place to get well. Since he’s been home, he has visitors almost daily. Some of his good friends and family even came out and barbecued for him Saturday night! He’s been able to get out and about a little bit too – he and his wife Mary visited their favorite weekend breakfast place. The patrons and staff actually applauded when they saw him. 
Every day he gets a little stronger, gains a little more weight and just feels better.
